Blueair’s Sense+ air purifier, Aware air monitor and Friend app have won three Envisioneering innovation, design and style awards for their technologies. The awards were announced during the Showstoppers product showcase event on January 6, at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), in Las Vegas.
According to the company, the Sense+ and Blueair Aware connect to the Blueair Friend app to provide a detailed view of indoor pollution. The Friend app also gathers data on an hourly basis from thousands of gauging stations in over 100 countries to deliver information on local outdoor air quality.
Blueair’s new technology is touted by the company as a smart, fully connected, fully working indoor air monitoring, control and purification system. The connected Sense+, Aware and Friend app offer homeowners and businesses indoor air free of allergens, chemicals, odors and dust particles, removing up to 99.97% of contaminants, Blueair officials said.
Herman Pihlträd, president of Blueair Inc., said the three new products are now shipping out and will be available in U.S. stores soon.
