The National Father’s Day Council will recognize Tom Kingsbury, president, CEO and chairman of Burlington Stores, as a 2019 “Father of the Year” honoree. The 78th annual Father of the Year Awards will be presented at the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel on June 13.
This year’s luncheon will benefit Save the Children’s U.S. programs and advocacy.
Burlington’s charitable initiatives include raising funds for blood cancer research, providing warm coats to those in need, donating new toys to children suffering from life-threatening illnesses, and helping provide funds to teachers to get the classroom materials for their students.
Kingsbury is active personally in philanthropic activities across a range of causes, including JDRF, National Center for Learning Disabilities, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
