At the upcoming Las Vegas Market, Bush Industries is preparing to feature new collections that incorporate product segments it has never before provided and to discuss the accelerating growth the company expects in the aftermath of its acquisition by investment group Novacap and that firm’s portfolio company Bestar.
The showroom will spotlight three new categories the company will introduce, upholstery, dining and fireplace, integrated with established segments such as home office. Bush emphasized that it would present the featured furniture so that showroom visitors will see pieces organized by style and get a clear picture of the complete home solution.
In terms of positioning, Bush built the upholstery program for e-commerce success, said Mark Weppner, svp/marketing, design and engineering. Three collections feature six products each, all available in a variety of fabrics to match the styles. All-inclusive sectional bundles eliminate guesswork for resellers and end consumers, he noted, while modular designs are easy to reconfigure. Bush developed all the pieces for small-parcel shipment with delivery to customers in three to five business days and for without-tool assembly in less than 30 minutes per section on average.
“Our company’s growth is a direct result of our ability to provide a furniture-buying experience that’s easy, fast and affordable,” Weppner said. “This past summer, we took our first steps into the universal storage, bathroom and entryway categories to join our existing home office, bedroom, seating and entertainment assortment. By continuing to expand our product offering in new and exciting ways, we’re giving customers a one-stop shop that lets them bring the designs they love to every room in their home.”
