The push by Las Vegas Market to expand its assortment of gourmet housewares products continued on Sunday with the official opening of C11.
Products from numerous housewares vendors were seen on the 11th floor of World Market Center’s Building C, covering categories that include small electrics, cookware, gadgets and kitchen tools, tabletop, linens and shelf-stable foods.
Most housewares suppliers displaying products this week in Las Vegas are doing so within the showrooms of their sales representatives.
Several vendors showcasing products for the first time at Las Vegas Market told HOMEWORLD BUSINESS® they like the idea of a west coast market to reach gourmet housewares stores in the west that may not want to travel to similar markets in Dallas and Atlanta. Suppliers also said they were writing orders the first day of the market.
A handful of housewares companies— including Jura, Waterford-Wedgwood and Lenox— have permanent showroom space in Building C, but are located on the 1st floor.
The market runs through Thursday, August 6.
