Cangshan Cutlery has won a 2020 German Design Award for its Thomas Keller Signature Cutlery collection.
The Thomas Keller Signature Collection of knives debuted exclusively at Williams Sonoma earlier this year, which included a five-part online video series that features chef Keller demonstrating some of his favorite knife skills.
“I have long been an admirer of chef Keller’s approach to cooking. What I truly admire is his single-minded desire to make exceptional experiences for each of his guests. With Chef Keller’s input on blade length, width and angles, as well as the handle design, I think we have created an extraordinary new line of premium knives handcrafted by amazing, passionate bladesmiths,” said Henry Liu, founder, Cangshan Cutlery.
The assortment includes a 10-inch chef’s knife; 8-inch chef’s knife; 8-inch bread knife; 6-inch boning knife; 8-inch honing steel; 5-inch serrated utility knife; 10.5-inch carving knife; 7-inch Santoku knife; set of four steak knives; 2.75-inch peeling knife; 5-inch fine edge steak knife; 7-inch utility knife; 3.5-inch paring knife; carving knife set; and a 5-inch fine edge utility knife.
