MONTVALE, NJ— Capresso is expanding its coffeemaker assortment with the addition of new brewers that will be offered at the summer Las Vegas Market.
The Capresso Perk is touted by the company as a “contemporary upgrade” to the classic percolator. Featuring stainless steel construction, the unit offers a view-through glass lid that showcases the percolating process. The coffeemaker is said to brew between 4-cups and 12-cups of coffee in less than a minute per cup and also includes an automatic keep-warm function.
In addition, the percolator also includes a stainless steel filter basket, a perk tub, locking lid, illuminated indicator light that shows when coffee is ready and a heat-resistant base that the company said is safe for use on any surface.
Suggested retail price of the Capresso Perk is $69.99.
Capresso will also showcase its Ultima Pro programmable pump espresso machine.
The unit features a 15-bar pump designed to make a rich crema, a self-tamping portafilter and programmable cup sizes that allows the user to customize the number of ounces for one or two espressos.
Other features include a removable 34-ounce water tank for easy filling, removable drip tray that includes an overflow indicator, integrated storage space for accessories and an automatic shut-off feature that powers down the unit after 30 minutes.
The Capresso Ultima Pro espresso machine comes with a one-year limited warranty and has a retail price of $199.99.
