Capresso Marks CoffeeTeam Anniversary

Capresso is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the CoffeeTeam, a combination coffeemaker/burr grinder, with an assortment of four models positioned for an expanded group of consumers.

According to the company, the specialty unit marries the brand’s grinder and coffeemaker collections to create a 2-in-1 countertop appliance with contemporary design and features.

CoffeeTeam TS features a conical burr grinder and direct-feed technology, with a compact, space-saving design, company officials said. The CoffeeTeam Pro Plus features a sleek stainless steel exterior and multiple advancements that include a two-step grind and clean container with automatic cleaning after every cycle, a patent-pending dispenser to improve ground coffee flow, and a special “oily” coffee bean setting to optimize dark roasts.

The CoffeeTeam collection includes the Pro Plus with Thermal Carafe for $259.99, Pro Plus with glass carafe for $229.99, TS with Thermal Carafe for $199.99 and TS with Glass Carafe for $179.99.

“The Capresso brand made its mark with the first bean-to-cup coffee maker on the market, the original CoffeeTeam that was named “Coffee Maker of the Year” on The Today Show in 1995,” said David Shull, SVP/sales and marketing with Jura. “The ever-evolving CoffeeTeam line continues to be one of our strengths, with its significant sales volume and the strategic importance of delivering a better cup for those who love coffee.”
