Casabella is characterizing a promotion with cleanmama.net, a “homekeeping” website, as a success in terms of getting the message out about its products and gaining information from consumers. In a survey associated with the promotion, consumers answered questions such as: What annoys you most about cleaning your floors?
Turns out it’s dog hair. Or at least that was the top-ranked irritation.
Casabella noted that it worked closely with the site’s director, Becky Rapinchuk, to craft a series of survey questions designed to uncover the floor cleaning habits of the dedicated group of cleaning enthusiasts associated with cleanmama.com. Participants had the chance to win a $100 shopping spree on Casabella.com.
In other survey results, a majority of consumers expressed a preference for environmentally friendly tools that save time and are easy to store.
“With more than 900,000 page views per month, CleanMama speaks directly to the ideal Casabella customer,” Judi Alexander, vp/marketing for Casabella. “Our goal always is to listen to our customers and help them find ways to make cleaning not only more efficient and easy, but also fun. We’re so pleased with the large number of responses we received in such a short time.”
