The National Retail Federation hired Scot Case as vp/corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
Case joins NRF with more than 25 years of corporate social responsibility and sustainability experience consulting with a variety of retailers and their suppliers. He worked in supporting the United States Environmental Protection Agency voluntary environmental labeling programs, such as Energy Star, WaterSense and Safer Choice, and he advised federal agencies and state and local governments on their sustainability initiatives.
“Scot will lead the expansion of NRF’s CSR and sustainability program, working to support the needs of our members and the broader retail industry,” NRF svp/government relations David French said in announcing the hire. “His extensive experience working on these issues in nonprofit, for-profit and government contractor roles gives him a unique perspective on the intersection of business, environmental and social issues.”
