The Commerce & Design Building will be the location for receptions and related events during the Spring High Point Market, April 14 to 18, according to building owner International Market Centers.
Exhibitor Trowbridge, for example, plans on offering noodles and prosecco daily starting at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 14 through Tuesday, April 17. Visual Comfort will host daily happy hours from Friday, April 13 through Tuesday, April 14, at 3 to 5 p.m. On Sunday, April 15, Visual Comfort also will offer an event introducing the company’s new designer Julie Neill from 3 to 5 p.m.
Almost three dozen showrooms will debut hundreds of home furnishings and accessories product lines in C&D, including Alliyah Rugs, Ameriwood Home/Dorel Home, Bethel International, Black Label, Brentwood Classics Ltd., Butler Speciality Co., Crawford & Burke, Jersey Mike’s, Legend Global, My Home Furnishings, NCA Designs Inc., Padma’s Plantation, Sarreid Ltd., South Shore Furniture, Trowbridge, Urban Chic and Urbia.
“Products in the C&D building range from commercial to mid-range to high-end resources to organic and sustainable, something for everyone,” said Julie Messner, IMC svp/furniture and home décor leasing. “Buyers and designers should definitely schedule time to visit showrooms and check out the many innovative sources throughout the building.”
