Chantal Corp. is putting the spotlight on food allergies with its new AllergenWare cookware. According to the company, if used separate from other cookware to cook safe foods and cleaned properly after use, it can reduce the likelihood of exposure of persons with food allergies to harmful allergens.
“Last year we learned of the growing need for food allergy awareness in the kitchen,” said Heida Thurlow, founder, Chantal. “It is a serious issue and we are proud to launch a collection of items that will address the needs of families who struggle with this every day.”
The AllergenWare cookware collection is made from nickel-free Japanese steel, and has a purple exterior color for allergen-free cookware recognition. Oven safe and dishwasher safe, the cookware also comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Additionally, the pan features a wide flat bottom, sloped sides and a cool to the touch, long ergonomic handle.
The collection includes a fry pan, 1-quart saucepan, 2.5-quart saucepan with pour spout and strainer lid, and a 6-quart casserole.
