Egg prep is a food prep focus for Chef’n, a division of Lifetime Brands, as it readies its latest kitchen tools for the second half of the year.
The new Yolkster is designed to allow an egg white to naturally drop into a bowl, leaving the yolk in the center of the separator. The spider-like shape is designed to grip onto a wide variety of bowls.
For consumers that enjoy poached eggs, the new Swirl’n is designed to poach eggs in a shorter amount of time than traditional methods. Once the egg is cracked into the tool, it is inserted into boiling water. The Swirl’n contains the egg, allowing it to be swirled and poached without the use of vinegar. It has a silicone handle and is top-rack dishwasher safe. In addition, the Poachster allows consumers to poach two eggs at once. It comes with an egg separator.
The company’s new Egg Slicester is designed to slice, dice or wedge hard boiled eggs. The eggs can be sliced vertically or horizontally. The gadget has a cupped base that contains the egg to prevent messes. The bowls nest for compact storage.
Chef’n’s new Topster comes with an egg holder and the topper comes with a stainless steel blade to pierce soft boiled eggs. The two pieces nest together for compact storage.
