All-Clad has added April Bloomfield to its chef ambassador program. The company said it picks chefs that mirror the brand’s dedication to the culinary community.
Bloomfield has spent most of her life in the kitchen. In 2004, Bloomfield and restaurateur Ken Friedman opened New York City’s first gastropub, The Spotted Pig. Since the opening, the duo have expanded their offerings to other restaurants including The Breslin Bar & Dining Room, The John Dory Oyster Bar, Salvation Taco, Salvation Burger and Tosca Café.
The chef was also honored as a Food & Wine “Best New Chef” in 2007 and in 2014 she received the James Beard Foundation Award for “Best Chef: New York City.”
