Clorox has tapped actor David Hasselhoff, the king of “hassle-free living,” according to the company, to star in its latest campaign to support three new cleaning products— Clorox ScrubSingles, Pump ‘N Clean and Triple Action Dust Wipes.
As part of the promotion, Hasselhoff also appears in a series of Vine videos and Pinterest how-to guides created to educate consumers on how to clean without the hassle of traditional cleaners, said the company.
David Hasselhoff said, “The Hoff is always ready for heroic action, but when it comes to cleaning, I leave it to the real experts.”
The Clorox Triple Action Dust Wipes are dry, non-abrasive wipes that are designed to grab and hold onto an entire room’s worth of dust, hair and allergens with just one wipe by utilizing the clinging power of its interlocking weave.
The Pump ‘N Clean is a one-handed pump system that includes cleanser for either the kitchen or bathroom.
The ScrubSingles for kitchen and bathroom are flexible, disposable pads preloaded with Clorox cleaner that tackle tough messes in hard-to-reach places like corners and stove burners.

On a national level, consumers will have a chance to win what the company is calling a “hassle-free” clean by sharing the Clorox/David Hasselhoff Vine content. Those that share the content online between March 16 and April 26, 2015 are eligible to win a Homejoy cleaning service and a selection of Clorox’s new products. Homejoy is a platform that connects customers with cleaning professionals.
