Conair Corporation management, following a published report that the company is for sale, informed customers and vendors in a letter Friday it has no foreseeable plan to sell its Cuisinart, personal care and professional and hairbrush and accessory divisions.
The letter, signed by Conair CEO Ronald Diamond and chairman James Dubin, states: “After extensive and thoughtful consideration, Conair Corporation is pleased to announce its determination to retain for the foreseeable future its Cuisinart, Hair Brushes and Accessories (HBA), Personal Care and Professional Divisions.”
The letter, a copy of which was obtained by HomeWorld Business, further states the company “is considering strategic alternatives for its Liquids, Satin Smooth, Waring and Allegro Divisions, and will make further announcements as plans for each business unit become more certain.”
“We are committed to serve the needs of our customers with innovative products and be a reliable business partner for all of our vendors,” the Conair letter stated. “Rest assured that we intend to support all of our business units so that they can thrive whether remaining within the Conair group of businesses or under different ownership.”
Conair management did not provide further comment when contacted.
