Coravin Inc., manufacturer of a wine tool that allows users to pour wine without pulling the cork, will be expanding into 21 Bloomingdale’s stores across CA, NY, FL, NJ, IL, MA, VA and GA, the company said. The nationwide rollout comes four months after the product first launched in six Bloomingdale’s stores.
“Seeking out new and innovative products for our shoppers is foundational to Bloomingdale’s mission and heritage. Adding Coravin to our assortment has enhanced our housewares offerings and customers are responding very well to the product. We welcome Coravin to our family of luxury goods, and are excited to showcase the product in all of our stores nationwide,” said Dan Leppo, svp and gmm/home, Bloomingdale’s.
In addition, over the last year, Coravin has secured $14.5 million in a series C-1 funding and developed a nationwide wine-by-the-glass program with a restaurant franchise, according to the company.
