Corkcicle is entering the thermal beverage category with new triple insulated canteens and tumblers, and will be exhibiting the new wares at the summer edition of NY Now, to be held through August 19 at the Javits Center.
For Corkcicle partner Stephen Bruner, the segment represents a “true extension” for the brand and a representation of the next chapter for the business as it moves toward general hydration. The Corkcicle name has been attributed to keeping things cold, and being related to drinks, said Bruner, so this latest introduction extends the message.
Corkcicle developed its complete Canteen and Tumbler line as triple wall, vacuum insulated stainless steel, aiming to add an additional layer of insulation and increased performance. The Canteen is said to keep drinks cold for 25 hours and hot for 12, while the Tumbler keeps drinks cold for nine and hot for three.
Corkcicle is also debuting 14 different colors in the Canteens and 18 different colors in the tumbler. The Canteens have a twist off gasket seal and in addition to the Vinnebago edition, it is offered in 9- and 16-ounce sizes, with the same lid fitting all three sizes. Both the Canteen and the Tumbler are offered in three finishes, matte, brushed or gloss. Each Tumbler features a sip-through, “spill-proof” lid equipped with a built-in slider and crystal clear lid.
The Tumblers are available in two sizes, 16 and 24 ounces, and have suggested retails of $24.95 and $29.95. Corkcicle Canteen is available in three sizes and has a suggested retail price range of $19.95 to $32.95.
