Costco plans to expand its corporate headquarters in Issaquah, Washington.
According to a report in the Seattle Times, Costco has won approval to build a nine-story office building adjacent to its corporate campus. The 620,000-square-foot facility would create space for up to 4,000 additional employees.
The new office would accommodate some employees at the corporate campus, workers at other sites nearby, as well as future growth, according to the report. Construction on the new Costco building is expected to begin next year with the company targeting occupancy in 2020, the report said.
