Crate & Barrel has a trove of introductions ready for fall, in the broader and narrower sense.
Among the introductions, autumn will bring the debut of Trove by Crate and Barrel, a new collection for modern design lovers. Trove, inspired by a mix of architectural styles, lifestyle elements, city design details and distinct icons, targets a new generation of customers, Crate & Barrel stated. It is the retailer’s first whole-home collection in a modern aesthetic and demonstrates the company’s commitment to continued evolution and innovation, Crate and Barrel asserted.
The Trove line also is the first full collection under the direction of the company’s new vp/product design and development, Sebastian Brauer. A new Trove collection will be introduced twice a year (fall and spring) inspired by a new modern design city.
Beyond Trove, Crate & Barrel fall introductions include three design-forward product groups: Modern Prairie, Urban Retreat and The New Deco. Modern Prairie, the core collection, draws inspiration from Chicago’s architectural and design heritage, the Prairie School of design and iconic American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, and honors Crate and Barrel’s hometown. It features cane constructions and autumnal colors such as amber and botanicals to bring nature indoors, Crate & Barrel noted.
