CVS Enters Omaha Market

CVS/pharmacy recently celebrated its entry into the Omaha market with a grand opening at one of its two new stores in the city of Omaha. The city is the latest market that CVS has expanded its presence to in 2010, including St. Louis, Memphis and Puerto Rico. Additional locations in the Omaha market are planned over the next several years.
As part of the grand opening celebration, CVS announced that it signed on as a silver sponsor of the ALS Association’s three “Walk to Defeat ALS” events in the state of Nebraska. CVS is a long-time supporter of the fight against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Earlier this summer, CVS held its ninth annual in-store fundraising campaign across its 7,000 stores to benefit the ALS Therapy Alliance.
