Amazon.com, Inc. has announced that it has expanded Prime Now to Dallas. The service offers one-hour delivery on tens of thousands of daily essentials through a mobile app, according to Amazon.com.
All Amazon.com Prime members in the Dallas area will be able to download the app, available on iOS and Android devices. In Dallas, Prime Now is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. Users can tap two-hour delivery for free and one-hour delivery for $7.99 in most zip codes.
“We know Dallas members are going to love the convenience of one-hour delivery through Prime Now,” said Dave Clark, Amazon’s svp/worldwide operations. “Our existing operations in the Dallas-area that utilize advanced technology to fulfill customer orders are now home to a Prime Now hub that is fueling this super-fast delivery.”
Prime Now already operates in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Baltimore and Miami.
