The Dallas Market Center has appointed Penni Barton as executive vice president, marketing.
Barton will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and programs across all sales channels and communications platforms for Dallas Market Center. She will oversee branding and brand marketing, communications, advertising, events, and publishing. She will report to president and CEO Cindy Morris.
This addition aligns with Dallas Market Center’s overall strategy to enhance marketing programs and drive awareness, buyer traffic, new exhibitors, and customer affinity for the market.
Barton brings almost three decades of brand and retail marketing experience to Dallas Market Center. She was previously with Motista, a predictive intelligence firm where she held the position of vp/client partner. Prior to Motista, Barton held marketing leadership positions with companies including FedEx, Dr. Pepper/7-Up, Groceryworks.com and Yum! Brands.
