Dallas Market Center Names Gourmet Gold Award Winners

Dallas Market Center has awarded ten Gourmet Gold Awards to manufacturers in the gourmet products industry who exhibit in Dallas. Judging was based on originality, taste and packaging, as well as innovation, visual appeal and practicality, the market said.

Winners are: Hot Ruby, Hot Ruby Inc. for Best Beverage; Black Garlic Rosemary Sauce, The Jelly Queens, Best Condiment; Mango Chutney, Willie’s Blue Ribbon Relish, Best Fruit Confit; Garlic Parmesan Beer Bread Mix, Molly & Drew The Beer Bread Company, Best Snack; Dede’s Cajus Cuisine Jambalaya Starer Sauce, Dede’s Cajun Cuisine, Best Soup or Chili; Crumbzz Crumb Cakes, Crumbzz, Best Sweet; Crackin’ Eggs, Funstastic America, Inc., Best Cookware; CF Color Blast Slushy Maker, Funtastic America, Inc., Best Kitchen Gadget; Shaggie Apron, Janey Lynn’s Designs, Inc.; Best Kitchen Textile; Casserole Carriers, Janey Lynn’s Designs Inc., Best Tabletop. 

The judges were: Anthony Van Camp, executive chef at SER Steak and Spirits; Tony Curtis-Wellings, co-owner of Faraday’s Kitchen Store; and Joe Baker, chef and owner of Joe the Baker.
