The Dallas Market Center is adding Made, a new category, in The Temps at the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, which is scheduled to be held January 17 to 23, 2018.
The Made category was created to keep up with demand from retailers for artisan-style products. The category will include an expanded selection of one-of-a-kind products and will be housed in the gift temps on the 12th floor of the World Trade Center. The section will encompass products made in a unique way including handmade, locally made, globally made, American made, uniquely made and one-of-a-kind items.
“We continue to see a strong demand for one-of-a-kind items,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Our Temps are a highly anticipated part of the market, and we are adding even more value for our retailers to discover additional products their customers will love.”
Additional new Temp areas were also introduced for the winter market including Luxe Gift on the 1st floor of the Trade Mart; the Home & Design Temps on the 6th floor of the World Trade Center; Made, Gift, Gourmet, and Holiday & Floral on the 12th floor of the World Trade Center; and a special cause-related and charitable giving product section will also launch on the 12th floor of the World Trade Center.
