The Dallas Market Center has noted an increase in pre-registration for its Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, which is set to be held from August 19 to 25.
According to market officials, there has been a 35% increase in registrants following the debut of FastPass. The FastPass, available from the front-page of the Dallas Market Center website, is a one-step pre-registration for buyers that delivers an immediate email confirmation and barcode.
“We’re pleased with the pre-market registration trend as we prepare to safely welcome buyers into our marketplace,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO, Dallas Market Center. “The FastPass is an important, additional method to support a healthy environment. Our complete plan, together with design features including large parking lots, wide entries and hallways, and multiple escalators, create the safest possible environment among all market centers and trade events. We continue to be encouraged by the sharp reduction in local COVID-19 cases following the mask order.”
The market said it continues to put public health first. Strict measures are in place to guide all August events. The complete protocols are available via a link on the front page of the Dallas Market Center website. Those measures include existing procedures for social distancing as well as recent additions such as a mask requirement and mandatory temperature check for each person entering the marketplace including all buyers and exhibitors.
