Darbie Angell has opened a new showroom at Forty One Madison where it will showcase its new tabletop collections at the upcoming New York Tabletop Market.
After over 10 years going back and forth from Austin, Texas, the business’ previous headquarters, Angell said she and her team decided to move to Forty One Madison. Angell described the past few months as “a flurry of ordering chandeliers, custom made wall papers and modernizing everything to make it fit the Darbie Angell woman.”
According to Angell, the new 2,550 square foot showroom is designed to reflect the spirit of the brand: young, bright, optimistic and not afraid to sparkle. Angell’s design focus is reflected in custom wallpapers, which give her clients a glimpse into her creative process. Design as art is mantra reflected both in the space and the product offering, the company said. Angell also pairs mid-century fixtures with pop-art accessories.
“It’s a dream come true. If home is where the heart is, we’ve been here all along,” Angell said. “We can’t wait to welcome all our guests into our home.”
