The High Point Market Authority, in partnership with the American Society of Interior Designers, has scheduled its educational seminar series for Spring High Point Market, slated for April 6 to 10.
The Design Viewpoints Series will run at the High Point Theatre in downtown High Point, NC.
Sponsored by Monogram Appliances, the Design Viewpoints Series sessions are free and open to all interior designers, retailers and other market attendees with a valid pass for the event. On tap for the series are three seminars developed to help attendees navigate the changing interior design business landscape.
The schedule for the seminar series includes:
- Lessons from A Well-Designed Business. Saturday, April 6, noon to 1 p.m. with LuAnn Nigara, co-owner, Window Works.
- Tech Tools: Reviews from the Designers Who Use Them. Sunday, April 7, noon to 1 p.m. with Phyllis Harbinger, ASID, NCIDQ, CID, founder and principal, Design Concepts/Interiors, Corey Damen Jenkins, principal and CEO, Corey Damen Jenkins & Associates, Darla Powell, principal, Darla Powell Interiors, Laura Thurman, Interior Designer, TDS-Thurman Design Studio, Jarret Yoshida, owner, Jarret Yoshida.
- Leveraging Social Media to Market Your Business. Monday, April 8, noon to 1 p.m. with Justina Blakeney, founder, Jungalow, Bria Hammel, principal designer and CEO, Bria Hammel Interiors, Lance Jackson, co-founder and creative director, Parker Kennedy Living, Courtney McLeod, founder and principal, Right Meets Left Interior Design.
