D&H Distributing has reported double digit growth over several consumer categories in the second half of 2015, including housewares.
In addition to information technology category growth, on the consumer side, D&H said it saw notable performance in areas such as digital fitness, health, videogame hardware, housewares and outdoor living products. Digital fitness devices was a top-selling area, showing 84% sales increases this year in the U.S., according to the company.
Overall distribution growth for the company for the past six months, from June to November, was close to 7% in the U.S., D&H said.
In addition to information technology categories, D&H reported that its consumer category growth in the U.S. in 2015 included:
- Digital fitness devices, 84%
- Health and wellness, 62%
- Videogame hardware, 37%
- Floor care and cleaning, 28%
- Kitchen and housewares, 24%
- Distributed audio and video, 20%
- Outdoors and recreation, 19%
