The High Point Market Authority has slated its fall Keynote Series lineup, including a session with actress and designer, Diane Keaton.
The Keynote Series will include three sessions held during the Fall High Point Market. The sessions will take place in the High Point Theatre beginning at 3 p.m. with doors opening 30 minutes prior to each session.
Keaton will be featured in a casual conversation about her passion for design, her latest projects and her sources of inspiration followed by a Q&A session with the audience in an Aidan Gray-sponsored session. It will occur on Saturday, October 19 and a book signing will follow. Aiden Gray will launch Keaton’s new lighting collection, Keaton Industries, during the fall market.
The Sunday, October 20 keynote will feature author, motivational speaker and influencer Erik Qualman, as he explores the concept of Socialnomics in a session that delves into how organizations might adapt to new rules of social, mobile and related communications to earn customer loyalty and long-term success. HPMA will present the session in partnership with the Home Furnishings Association, with a book signing to follow.
The Monday, October 21 session will feature a panel discussion on how to harness the brand building power of television. Moderated by designer Evette Rios, the panel will include designers Hilary Farr, Libby Langdon and Mikel Welch.
“This fall’s Keynote Series is the quintessential blend of star power, inspiration and valuable takeaways,” said Tom Conley, HPMA president and CEO. “With topics to motivate, encourage, and educate, this lineup really elevates the educational programming offerings and the overall market experience.”
