Dorel Business, a supplier of office, lobby and hospitality furniture, is relaunching Bridgeport, as a brand centered on function, quality and design in commercial products.
The Dorel Industries division will feature furnishings across the seating, table, office and reception product segments under two sub-categories, Essentials and Commercial.
Essentials will focus on products that range from residential to commercial in quality. Offered at low to mid-pricepoints, Essential products feature designs intended to serve smaller enterprises such as family-operated businesses. The Commercial line focuses on items that are commercially rated and designed specifically for high-traffic and commercial environments. Commercial items will fall in the mid- to high pricepoint range.
With the new line, Dorel Business aims to provide the commercial segment with a range of product choices for the office, lobby or outdoor space backed by flexible drop ship and LTL programs, and direct import and bulk buy availability, as well as a support team dedicated to meeting customer needs.
“Over the past 80 years, we’ve built a strong reputation for quality and innovation within the commercial category, and this new brand represents that,” said Bryan Hollingsworth, business development manager, Dorel. “We’re focusing on design and trends to create products that are best in class for small and medium business partners in North America.”
Dorel Business will offer the line to dealers and business distributors including but not limited to furniture dealers, office products dealers, school supply dealers, industrial distributors, architects, contract furniture dealers, government purchasing agents, universities and colleges and office furniture wholesalers.
