Dreamfarm’s new Spina and Orlid kitchen gadgets have won 2020 Good Design Awards.
The Orlid, available now, is a stackable spice jar with a double lid that opens to shake or scoop with the press of a button, said the company. If one hand is dirty or in-use, Orlid will flip open to an adjustable shaker dial or open for one-handed pouring.
The Orlid also nests in stacks, taking up less space in the cupboard. It has a wide-mouth jar that is easy to fill and Ortwo and Ortwo Lite spice mills. The Orlid has a suggested retail price of $11.95.
Dreamfarm’s new Spina also recently won a Good Design Award. The Spina, scheduled to ship in November, is a colander that turns into an in-sink salad spinner to wash and dry salad leaves, vegetables, berries and other fresh ingredients.
The basket has over-hanging sides so nothing climbs out and it has a non-slip foot so it always spins safely in place. The Spina’s handle tucks in for compact storage. It has a suggested retail price of $29.99.
