Ecovacs Robotics has unveiled the Deebot Ozmo T8 and T8+, the company’s first robotic vacuum cleaners powered by its TrueDetect 3D Technology.
The vacuums feature the company’s TrueMapping technology, and the Ozmo mopping system to deliver enhanced cleaning capabilities, the company noted. The Deebot Ozmo T8 can intelligently navigate the user’s home and provide a thorough cleaning experience. The robot can mop and clean stains, remove dust in crevices up to 4 millimeters deep, and sanitize. Carpet detection technology allows the unit to automatically increase suction power on carpets when vacuuming and avoid carpets when mopping.
Ecovacs offers two power-up kits for the Deebot Ozmo T8: the Ozmo Pro Oscillating Mopping System kit, developed to attack stubborn stains by using electrically powered high-frequency vibration and to provide a fine mopping option; and the auto-empty station, which clears the robot’s dustbin automatically after cleaning.
Purchasers can use the Ecovacs home app or smart home devices such as Amazon Echo/Dot and Google Home to control Deebot Ozmo T8 remotely.
The Deebot T8 is available for $649 on the company’s website, Amazon, and online at Walmart and Target.
