Eko USA LLC will debut new step bins and sensor trash cans at the National Hardware Show. Garbage cans under the Eko brand are highlighted by quiet, soft close lids and a fingerprint resistant finish.
The company’s new Regent step bin features a damper system as well as a fingerprint resistant finish on the exterior. Regent’s stay-open design option helps to keep the lid locked open, convenient for when cleaning and changing the plastic bag, the company noted. Regent is also designed to sit flush against the wall. The bins also feature a built-in “plastic bag fixer” to leave no excess plastic bag visible, to keep bins neat. Regent is available in 6-, 12-, 26- and 32-liter sizes.
Eko’s Dara sensor bin is designed to open automatically with a wave of the user’s hand within 28 centimeters above the lid; it features a series of red lights that let the user know when the lid is nearer to closing. It also gives consumers the option of a “touch switch” panel for manual opening and closing. Dara features a fingerprint resistant exterior and a soft close lid. The bin also features an “easy-clip” design that allows the user to hang the lid on the body easily, convenient for cleaning and changing plastic bags. The sensor can is available in 35- or 50-liter sizes, in brushed stainless, cream, red, lime, black or white.
The National Hardware Show will be held May 5-7.
