Electrolux has added lithium ion technology to its new Ergorapido 2-in-1 cordless stick vacuum. Designed for use on bare floors, the vacuum features what the company said is a 14.4V lithium battery that enables the vacuum to run longer and charge faster.
In addition, Electrolux has added a self-cleaning brush roll, which the company said negates the need to manually clean the brushroll, should it become clogged.
“We know that lithium ion technology offers the cleaning power consumers need to keep all their homes’ surfaces clean,” said Kerstin Peterson, vp/marketing at Electrolux Small Appliances, North America. “The Ergorapido Lithium Ion Brushroll Clean Xtra brings the latest technologies together in one vacuum that will masterfully clean on and above a homeowner’s bare floors, easily free itself of brushroll tangles and recharge quickly to do it all again.”
The Ergorapido Lithium Ion Brushroll Clean Xtra has what the company described as 180-degree maneuverability that allows the head of the vacuum to turn smoothly and move easily. The self-standing, cordless design enables consumers to move freely as they clean.
In addition, the vacuum’s LED lights allows for cleaning in dark and hard-to-reach places. An integrated handheld unit can be detached from the vacuum in order to reach hard-to-clean upholstery, countertops and crevices.
The Electrolux Ergorapido Lithium Ion Brushroll Clean Xtra vacuum is available now at retailers including Lowe’s, Best Buy and Meijer, with an SRP of $149.99.
