Emile Henry recently unveiled its new garlic pot at the 2019 International Home + Housewares Show. The pot, which will be available in June, is designed to complement the company’s other new release, a food storage bowl.
According to the company, bulbs of garlic will keep for several weeks or longer when stored at room temperature in the ceramic garlic pot. The ceramic pot with the cork lid keeps the pot dark and dry to prevent sprouting. Three small openings on the bottom offer ventilation. The shallow bowl in the cork lid serves as the loose clove home-base, easy to reach and in plain view.
With a suggested retail price of $50, the garlic pot will be available in clay, flour, burgundy, charcoal and blue flame colors.
