Ergo Chef has announced that it has teamed with The Chew’s Michael Symon to design a new line of cutlery. The company, known for its Crimson series of knives with an ergonomic handle that is said to reverse the signs and stressors that cause carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis, will be introducing a number of new knives under the partnership at the International Home + Housewares Show.
Included in the launch will be a 9-inch chef knife, 6-inch chef knife, 6-inch serrated utility knife, 7-inch vegetable cleaver, 3.5-inch paring knife and a four-piece steak knife set. Symon will be available at the Housewares show on March 8 to introduce the new line.
“Ergo Chef was able to take my vision for high-quality, durable knives and make it a reality,” said Symon. “We worked together to develop a design that looks great and has a super balanced, comfortable feel in the hand, which is really important for those who love to cook the way I do.”
Symon earned recognition as an Iron Chef on Food Network and as co-host on ABC’s The Chew.
