At last week’s New York Tabletop Market, Euro Ceramica debuted “Biju,” freezer and oven to table stoneware bakeware made in Portugal.
The shapes are said to be easy to handle, and feature a relief on the edge for an appealing presentation at the table. The collection will debut in two colors, mustard and cream, with new colors to be included soon. Suggested retail prices range from $20 to $50.
In addition, the company’s Sierra dinnerware is a line hand-painted by a Spanish artisan said to evoke the warmer tones of autumn, yet it can also be used for family gatherings year round, according to the company. Sierra tableware items include dinnerware, tapas plates and serveware, with SRPs ranging from $6 to $50.
