For the New York Tabletop Market, Forty One Madison will have a seasonal lobby installation designed by FlowerSchool New York in partnership with Flower magazine. The spring market is scheduled to be held April 2 to 5 in New York City.
In support of the installation, Forty One Madison will host a “Style Your Shop – How Blooms Can Make a Big Impact for Your Business” breakfast seminar on Wednesday, April 3. The seminar will feature Margot Shaw, editor-in-chief of Flower and by Calvert Crary, executive director of FlowerSchool NY. The duo will discuss different ways florals can be used to enhance in-store merchandising to boost business for retailers. Following the seminar, Shaw will host an exclusive book signing for her new title, Living Floral.
“The April show always brings a vibrant new energy as we celebrate the start of a new season. We’re excited to host attendees for a market that will be in full bloom with brand new programming, products and partnerships,” said Kristi Forbes, Forty One Madison director and senior vice president.
In addition, Forty One Madison will welcome The Oneida Group’s retail sector in a new space on the 10th floor. Mepra has relocated and taken a new showroom on the 22nd floor and Revol has expanded to a larger space on the 19th floor.
Forty One Madison has enlisted industry veteran and founder of Table + Dine, Deborah Shearer, as the official New York Tabletop Market Trend Expert. Shearer will identify new trends seen at-show and within the world of tabletop that will be revealed on Forty One Madison’s channels following the show.
On the social media front, Forty One Madison is continuing its Tastemaker Takeover program, with notable industry influencers signing on to the @41Madison Instagram to snap and share photos of their favorite finds and trends seen at market. Followers can track Instagram takeovers from: Danielle Blundell, lifestyle director for Rachael Ray Every Day; Naomi deManana, editor at large for Martha Stewart Living; and Deborah Shearer, founder at Table + Dine.
