Fred’s plans to accelerate its promotional outreach to consumers for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and keep engaging consumers through the month of December by offering deals on brand name products and popular gift options across toys, electronics, home decor, kitchen, small appliances and apparel segments.
Stores will open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow for Thanksgiving and extend the company’s annual Black Friday sale across two days, November 27 and 28.
This holiday season, Fred’s will emphasize four factors in its promotions: decorating, gifting, cooking and staying healthy.
During Black Friday and continuing into Saturday, customers can shop deals including 50% off artificial Christmas trees, 25% off shatterproof ornaments and 25% off all toys. Fred’s also plans a range of promotions on wall and table decor, outdoor lighting, festive table linens, dinnerware, and glassware, as well as bargains on folding tables and chairs.
In addition to convenient food items, Fred’s indicated that it would offer a selection of small appliances, ceramic cookware, bakeware and food storage options for holiday feasting and leftovers conservation.
“We’re expanding our Black Friday sale and are continuing it through Saturday with low prices and great deals,” said Bryan Pugh, chief merchandising and marketing officer for Fred’s. “We offer a wide variety of holiday gifts and decorations, and we’re looking forward to providing customers an alternative to large lines, big parking lots and one-day deals.”
