As the Fall High Point Market prepares to open on Saturday, October 17, Linon Home Decor is adding, among other home decor, softly styled, solid, upholstered chairs and benches with a country French influence, the company noted.
Although contemporary and rustic industrial designs have had strength in several of the previous High Point Markets, more transitional retro looks have gained and now gentler styles are coming into the fore, building from the recent popularity of casual country and cottage looks.
For Linon, French-influenced designs provides an advantage in the current market. With a more neutral color scheme and transitional styling of a somewhat traditional bent, they can blend and soften bolder looks consumers have favored recently without setting off a clash in a room environment.
Linon is introducing the softer look in dining chairs, accent chairs, benches and headboards as well as upholstered coffee and other tables, the company said.
