FreshTape To Cease Manufacturing, Sales

FreshTape, a reusable, resealable tape for use on food bags, will no longer manufacture the product and will also stop web sales on April 19.

To liquidate the merchandise, which come in a variety of colors and patterns, the company is having a “stock up” clearance sale. The products are now on sale for 75% off on the company’s website and there is free shipping with purchases of more than $25 with the code “Farewell” entered at checkout.

“We learned a ton. We sold a bunch. We won’t forget you as a great customer and a great friend. Many thanks to you for your support. Keep in touch,” the company posted in its newsletter.

FreshTape was originally developed as an American-made, FDA compliant, BPA-free alternative to traditional bag clips, the company said two years ago when it launched.
