American restauranteur and celebrity chef Donatella Arpaia has partnered with home luxury lifestyle retailer Frontgate to develop a line of ornaments, fine bone china and gold-accented serveware. It will launch in Frontgate’s November catalog.
Arpaia said of the collection: “Having worked in the restaurant business for years, I know how important it is to let the food shine— and that beauty and functionality can go hand in hand.”
In addition to the new collection, via blog posts and online videos, Frontgate is expanding its seasonal content offerings to include Arpaia’s insider gourmet tips and recipes for holiday entertaining.
“My collections of mixed metallics will take you through the holidays and beyond,” she added. “They can be easily personalized and accented to create your own statement.”
Arpaia is best known for her role as head judge on Food Network’s “Iron Chef America” and “The Next Iron Chef.” She is also a regular contributor to NBC News’ “Today,” where she offers her culinary expertise and recipes.
