Gibson Overseas is looking to capitalize on the sales growth of its licensed Peanuts tableware with an expansion of the line at the upcoming 2016 International Home + Housewares Show.
“The recent success of the Peanuts movie helped, but Gibson has always seen strong sales of our Peanuts branded products because it’s a brand that has characters that are easy to relate to and love,” said Grace Saari, vp/marketing, Gibson.
Gibson will introduce two new ceramic bowl and mug collections featuring the Peanuts characters at the upcoming Housewares Show.
The new introductions further expand Gibson’s wide selection of Peanuts designs— which includes everything from collectible ceramics, such as cookie jars and thermal containers, to melamine dinnerware.
The Peanuts Portraits assortment highlights 15-ounce stoneware mugs and six-inch bowls that feature close-up portraits of Snoopy in blue, Linus in green, Lucy in yellow and Charlie Brown in orange.
In addition, the Peanuts Festive Sketch line features the same size stoneware mugs and six-inch bowls. The assortment highlights colorful sketch drawings of Snoopy and Woodstock.
