Off-price retailer Gordmans will open 38 new locations across eight states in March, its parent company Stage Stores said.
According to a report from chron.com, the website of the Houston Chronicle, the expansion comes two years after Stage acquired Gordmans. The stores will be located in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Texas. Another 36 stores are slated to open later this year.
As of February 4, Stage Stores operates 728 stores in 42 states under several brands including Bealls, Goody’s, Palais Royal, Peebles, Stage and Gordmans along with the stage.com website.
