Gourmia Showcases Robotic Cooker At CES

Small kitchen electrics supplier Gourmia will feature its 10-in-1 Multi-Function Robotic Cooker at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

According to the company, the Robotic Cooker includes several features such as a built-in hands-free stirrer, 3D cooking technology and pre-programmed controls that eliminate the work of cooking meals at home.

“It’s like having an extra pair of hands in the kitchen, and in many ways an extra kitchen stove as well,” Sam Ash, chief marketing officer at Gourmia, said of the 10-in-1 Multi-Function Robotic Cooker. “Loaded with innovative thinking and a host of advanced features, it is unquestionably a must-have for culinary enthusiasts, healthy-eating devotees, and techies disguised as foodies.”

Gourmia officials said the unit’s hands-free stirrer features a direct-drive, top-mounted self-operating stirrer system that can be used to make a variety of dishes including risotto, stews and soups. The 3D cooking technology consists of two parts: a base-mounted heating system that maximizes the searing effect of foods, and a technologically advanced hot air circulation system that surrounds food with heat energy so that items cook faster, better, and more efficiently, according to the company.

Other features include pre-programmed controls, easy-to-read temperature and timer displays, custom-designed EasyVue lid, removable contact points for easy cleaning and dishwasher safe auto stir spatula.

The 10-in-1 Multi-Function Robotic Cooker is available now at Amazon.com for $149.99.
