Gourmia is launching a new assortment of kitchen electrics that feature connectivity to the company’s mobile kitchen app and are also compatible with the Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant platforms.
On display at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show, the new appliances include a 7-quart digital air fryer, the 11-in-1 deluxe multi-cooker and 10-cup coffeemaker and grinder.
“We want to be at the forefront of consumers’ experience in connected, smart cooking,” stated Gourmia founder Heshy Biegeleisen. “It is important to us that we offer appliances that make sense to consumers or solve a need for them. And we can do that with our special platform that allows us to make any of our products smart.”
According to the company, the Gourmia IoT (Internet of Things) products offer consumers several options when preparing food or beverages. The first is the company’s Mia mobile kitchen app that allows for control of the appliances via a mobile device. In addition, consumers are able to control the appliances through Alexa or Google Assistant. Finally, each unit can also be controlled manually.
The digital air fryer features an extra-large door with EZ view window, 10 chef-at-a-touch modes, RadiVection 360-degree technology to circulate hot air in all directions and an express heat system that is said to cook food 30% faster than a standard oven.
The deluxe multi-cooker is a 6.5-quart unit that features a host of presets, a heat-resistant glass lid and a recipe book.
Gourmia’s new 10-cup coffeemaker and grinder includes a programmable timer, LED display, 30-minute keep warm capability and auto shut-off. A stainless-steel body is paired with a 10-cup, crystal-clear glass carafe. In addition, a built-in grinder allows the user to grind their favorite coffee just prior to use.
