Walter Lehneis, president and general manager of Groupe SEB USA, has left the company, HomeWorldBusiness.com has confirmed.
Lehneis joined the company in July of 2018 to fill the position vacated by Greg Cairo, who was named the company’s vp/Northern Latin America. According to Groupe SEB, Lehneis left the company to pursue new opportunities.
Lehneis came to Groupe SEB from Newell Brands where he most recently held the position of global svp and general manager, Newell appliances and cookware.
In addition, Luc Gaudemard, currently the company’s evp/Americas, will be returning to Groupe SEB headquarters in France in the coming weeks. Martin Zouhar, currently svp/Eurasia, will succeed Gaudemard as evp/North and Central America beginning March 15.
In a statement, Groupe SEB officials thanked Gaudemard for his “leadership and accomplishments” throughout the past 3 1/2 years and wished him well in his new responsibilities. Specifics on what those new responsibilities will be were not immediately known.
