Haier America has appointed Deanna Johnston as chief information officer and Chris Hogan as senior sales manager.
According to the company, as CIO, Johnston will refresh and lead the implementation of Haier America’s operational strategy as well as define the organization’s business process architecture, translate the process architecture into IT architecture and develop an IT systems improvement roadmap to close process and system gaps. She will be reporting to the company’s chief operating officer, Kevin Dexter.
Johnston has over 20 years of experience in consumer products, high tech and health care industries, the company said. For the past seven years, she served as CIO for Belkin International.
“Deanna will play a key role on our executive team, managing our overall operational excellence and developing the architecture for our future technology vision for the company,” Dexter said.
Hogan will be reporting to Paul Riley, svp/sales and marketing, and accountable for the growth and development of the appliance business with strategic distribution partners.
He joins Haier with over 20 years of key account sales experience, most recently as vp/appliances with Sharp Electronics Corporation, where he led all sales activities for the health and environmental solutions group. Prior to Sharp, Hogan held senior level sales roles with LG Electronics USA and Samsung Electronics America.
“His role will be vital in managing our current relationships with key distribution partners and expanding those efforts over the next several years,” Riley said.
