The National Hardware Show and Handy magazine, the official publication of the Handyman Club of America, have developed a joint program to widen consumer and retailer exposure of new products from the show’s exhibitors.
The program features product testing through the Handyman Club of America, new product demo videos to appear on handymanclub.com, an E-newsletter and coverage in Handy magazine.
The platform offers exhibitors in the National Hardware Show a cost-effective way to reach millions of DIY consumers while engaging home channel retailers before, during and after the show, according to Ed Several, group vp and manager of the National Hardware Show.
Next year’s National Hardware Show is set for May 4-6, 2010, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV.
“In these tough times when budgets are tight, the expanded partnership between Handy and the National Hardware Show offers manufacturers with a unique opportunity to reach the whole distribution channel, including the end-user consumer through traditional and non-traditional media channels,” Several said.
