Hendrickson Hired As Neiman’s First Chief Information Security Officer

Sarah Hendrickson has joined Neiman Marcus as its first Chief Information Security Officer. She joined the retailer on November 3 and reports to CIO Michael Kingston, The Wall Street Journal reported.

According to a letter on the Neiman Marcus website from president and CEO Karen Katz to customers, the retailer’s forensic reports confirmed that malware installed on the system attempted to collect or “scrape” payment card data from July 16, 2013 to October 30, 2013. The attack affected up to 350,000 credit and debit cards.
